WEEK 2
TWThe second game of the day pitted the Bank of Tullahoma Tigers against the host Sports Plus Bulldogs. The going was slow early in the game but the Sports Plus Bulldogs drew first blood late in the first quarter. The Tigers answered as Scottie Maupin raced around the right side for a big gainer that set up the Tigers first score early in the second quarter. The Tigers were driving and Alex Williams scored as he fell on a loose ball in the end zone, the conversion attempt failed. The Bulldogs got hot and added three more scores before the intermission. Justin Brandon scampered 55 yards for a touchdown and Zane Price added a two point conversion as he split the uprights making it 15-6 in favor of the Bulldogs. The Bulldogs scored again from 53 yards out as Bulldog quarterback, Van Williams, threw a strike to Justin Brandon and Brandon raced in for the score, the conversion attempt failed. The Bulldog's last score of the quarter came as Brandon raced in from 22 yards out, Zane Price split the uprights again making it 29-6 in favor of the Bulldogs at the half. The lone score in the second half was set up as Jordan McKelvey, of the Bulldogs, intercepted a Tiger pass and returned it 35 yards. Zane Price then broke free on the outside and scampered 40 yards for the score. The Bulldogs win 36-6.
Head coach, Warner Tomes, of the Bulldogs praised the hard work turned in by Jesse Kochans and Brett Martin on defense and Nick Thompson and Aaron Gray on offense. Tiger head coach, Billy Bates, praised the efforts of Hayden Hines, John Maldanado, and Jackson DuBois on defense and Ben Carter, Scottie Maupin, and Charlie Scott on offense.
WEEK 3
The race for the lead in the league standings tightened back up this weekend as the Sports Plus Bulldogs suprize the previously undefeated Short Stop Market Yellow Jackets. After three weeks we have the Yellow Jackets, Falcons, and the Bulldogs all knotted at the top of the standings with records of 2 wins and 0 loses.
The day began with a short ceremony dedicating the new Waggoner Park Frank R. Mullins Youth Football League facility. Mayor Bisby and several other city and state dignitaries were present for the opening. The first game of the day pitted the previously undefeated Short Stop Market Yellow Jackets against the host Sports Plus Bulldogs. The Yellow Jackets seemed to be in control of the game taking a 12 – 0 lead into the half. Zach Lampkin got the Jackets on the board in the first quarter as he broke loss around the end and ran it in from 16 yards out, the conversion attempt failed. The Jackets led 6 – 0 after the first quarter. The Jackets scored in the second quarter when Trey Burks tossed a pass to Zach Lampkin for a touchdown covering 28 yards, the conversion attempt failed. The Jackets led 12 – 0 at the half.
The Bulldogs opened the third quarter
with a score as Zane Price broke around the end and raced 20 yards to the end
zone, the Bulldogs then kicked a two-point conversion. The Jackets answered
as Trey Burks burst off tackle and rambled 18 yards for the Bulldog touchdown,
the conversion attempt failed. The Jackets lead is 18 – 8 at the end of
three quarters. The fourth quarter belonged to the Bulldogs as they scored twice
to take the victory. Jordan McKelvey scored with a 1-yard burst up the middle
and the conversion attempt failed. The Bulldogs held the Jackets and put together
a good drive as time was running down. Justin Brandon scored from two yards
out with only 20 seconds remaining on the clock. The Bulldogs held on to win
20 – 18.
WEEK 4
The last game of the day had the Short Stop Market Yellow Jackets hosting the Bank of Tullahoma Tigers. The Jackets got on the board early as Trey Burks broke several tackles and rambled up the left sideline for 50 yards and the Jacket touchdown, the conversion attempt failed. The Jackets lead 6 – 0. Later in the first quarter, Burks smashed up the middle and rambled for 36 yards and the Jacket score, the conversion attempt failed. The Jackets lead is 12 – 0 at the end of one quarter. The two teams battled through most of the second quarter before the Tigers cut into the Jacket lead. Tiger quarterback, Caleb Olive, pitched the ball to Caleb Zidan going to the right and Zidan pulled up and tossed a pass to Scottie Maupin for the touchdown covering 35 yards, the conversion attempt failed. The Jackets lead is 12 – 6 at the half.
The Jackets came out and dominated the third quarter as Burks added two more Jacket scores. The first acme as Burks broke several tackles up the middle and raced in from 37 yards out, the conversion attempt failed. His last score of the day came as he started right and then cut across the field and scampered 58 yards for the score, Dayton Snipes added the conversion as he toke the ball in the middle and burst into the end zone. Neither team could mount any offense in the final quarter and the Jackets take the win by a score of 25 – 6.

WEEK 5
The first game featured the Bank
of Tullahoma Tigers hosting the Sports Plus Bulldogs.The Bulldogs came out and
scored early and often as they built a 20 – 0 lead in the first quarter.
Their first score came as Justin Brandon broke several tackles and scampered
62 yards up the right sideline for the touchdown. Zane Price split the uprights
with a kick for a two-point conversion. The Tiger offense was unable to move
the ball and gave it up to the Bulldogs. It did not take long for the Bulldogs
to get back on the board as Zane Price broke loose from 5 yards out and scored,
the kick attempt failed. The bulldogs next score came on defense as Brandon
scooped up a Tiger fumble and raced in from 35 yards out, the kick attempt failed
again. The Bulldogs lead is 20 – 0 after one quarter of play.
The teams battled back and forth during the second quarter until the Bulldogs
quarterback, Van Williams, hit Josh Brandon with a strike covering 35 yards
resulting in a Bulldog touchdown; Price put another kick through the uprights
for the two-point conversion. The Bulldog lead at half is 28 – 0.
The Bulldogs add another touchdown in the third quarter and two more in the fourth, as the Tigers never get untracked. Josh Brandon rambled 15 yards for the Bulldog score in the third quarter, the conversion attempt failed. In the fourth quarter, Terrell Bryson broke through the Tiger defense and raced 75 yards for the score the conversion was good. The final score came as Josh Brandon intercepts a Tiger pitch and raced in for a 48 yard score. The Bulldogs win 47 – 0. Billy Bates, head coach for the Tigers, applauded the efforts of Scottie Maupin and Phillip Lett on offense and R. J. Moore, Charlie Scott, and Ben Carter on defense.
WEEK 6
In the second game of the day, the Bank of Tullahoma Tigers played host to the Mike Thompson Ford – Mercury – Mazda Falcons. Jordan Sheffield of the Falcons scored the first touchdown of the game as he scampered in from 12 yards out and the conversion attempt failed. Sheffield scored again in the quarter on another run and the conversion attempt failed. The Falcons got on the board again late in the first quarter as quarterback, Justin Brown, connected with Brandon Koche for a touchdown pass covering 5 yards and conversion attempt failed. The Falcons lead was 19 – 0 after the first quarter.
Devonte Morrison of the Falcons added another touchdown in the second quarter on a nice running play and the conversion attempt failed. Later in the quarter, Brown hit Koche again for a touchdown and the conversion attempt failed. The Tigers then got on the board as quarterback, Caleb Olive, pitched the ball to Caleb Zidan heading around the right end and Zidan pulled up and fired a strike to Scottie Maupin for the Tiger score covering 57 yards and the conversion attempt failed. The Falcons added another score in the second quarter on a Koche run and the kick attempt was blocked. The Falcons lead was 31 – 6 at the half.
The Falcons added another score in the third quarter as Koche took the ball on a reverse and raced 60 yards for the Falcon score and the conversion filed. The Falcons lead was 37 6 after three quarters.
The Tigers put a drive together in the fourth quarter running the ball right up the gut that ended with Caleb Zidan busting up the middle for the score covering 2 yards and the conversion attempt failed. Koche of the Falcons took returned the ensuing kick-off and returned it for the last score of the day and the conversion attempt failed. The Falcons win 44 – 12.

the work turned in by his entire offensive line and Charlie Scott, Jon Gerdon,
and John Maldonado on defense.
